Agent of Change
Organizational Transformation · Culture · Leadership · Human Experience
I help organizations turn change into action. I work at the intersection of people, culture, leadership and experience, helping organizations navigate complex change and build the conditions for people to move forward together.
Change has been the throughline.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked in spaces where people, creativity, culture and systems collide.
I’ve been an actor, director, choreographer, educator, organizational leader, cultural consultant, inclusion strategist, founder and facilitator. I’ve worked inside organizations and alongside them, in Australia and the United States, across the arts, education, museums, community organizations and corporate environments.
Today, my work focuses on a question that has followed me throughout my career: how do we help people and organizations move from knowing that change is needed to actually making change happen?
I don’t believe meaningful change happens because someone delivers the perfect presentation or writes the perfect strategy. It happens when people can see themselves in the change, understand their role in it, have the tools and relationships to act, and have the support to keep moving when things get difficult.
That’s the work I do.
A career built around change.

Change in practice.
Organised by what changed, not by job title.
Culture & inclusion
Stage A Change — Founded and led a social enterprise focused on changing systems, practices and opportunities across the Australian arts sector.
Source required: “more than 2,500 people across 66 organizations and productions” is claimed in the working notes. We need the public account it comes from before publishing the number.
Organizational development
Needs confirmation before publishing: Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Arts Centre Melbourne, Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, Arch Brothers — and Google, where the engagement itself is still unidentified. For each we need: what the problem was, what Cessalee did, and what changed. Until then these stay off the site.
Speaker. Facilitator. Storyteller.
Cessalee brings the energy of a performer, the perspective of an organizational leader and the practical tools of a transformation practitioner to conversations about people, culture and change.
Leading Through Change
How leaders help people move from uncertainty to action.
Culture Is a Verb
Why organizational culture is created through everyday behavior — not posters, values statements or annual surveys.
The Human Side of Transformation
What happens when organizational strategy meets actual humans.
ABIDE: From Invitation to Engagement
Moving organizations toward meaningful participation.
Difficult Conversations, Better Organizations
Building the capacity to address tension rather than avoid it.
Available for keynotes · panels · workshops · executive facilitation
Needs confirmation: the Ticketing Australia keynote, and a list of 5–8 paid speaking engagements to show here. ABIDE is deliberately left unexpanded — kept as-is.

The Cessalee difference.
I didn’t learn about people in a business school. I learned about people in rehearsal rooms, classrooms, boardrooms, backstage, on tour, in community spaces and inside organizations navigating real change.
My work combines the rigor of organizational development with the curiosity of an artist.
I listen for what isn’t being said. I notice what’s happening in the room. I ask the question that hasn’t been asked yet. And I help people turn insight into action.
